Connect to our TAK server for real-time crew tracking
ATAK (Android Team Awareness Kit) is a geospatial mapping app originally developed for military use. We use it for festival crew coordination - see everyone's location on a shared map in real-time.
Works with Meshtastic radios for offline mesh networking when cell service is unreliable.
Get ATAK-CIV from the Google Play Store (Android only)
Download your connection profile from the server. Log into the OpenTAK web UI and go to Data Packages.
Open the .zip file with ATAK - it will auto-configure your server connection and certificates.
Your location will appear on the shared map. You'll see other crew members as they move.
If you need to configure manually:
Server: alex.alstergee.com
TCP Port: 8088 (unencrypted) or 8089 (SSL)
HTTPS API: Port 8443
Certificate: Required - get from data package
Note: Using the data package from the web UI is much easier than manual config.
ATAK is Android-only. For iOS, use iTAK from the App Store. Same server, same data packages.
